The Welsh Assembly Government is continuing its commitment to the Wales Station Improvement Programme which seeks to provide exemplary accessibility for stations for example at Port Talbot Parkway, Pontypridd and Neath Stations.
Following two successful trials at Aberdyfi and Valley Stations, we aim to roll out the Easier Access (Humps) programme at selected rural stations in Wales that have an issue with the stepping height between the platform and the train preventing people with wheelchairs boarding and this programme will be completed by the end of 2011.
